Neuhaus shoots 68 as Patriots maintain Fourth Place

LITCHFIELD PARK, AZ – Sophomore Leander Neuhaus fired a four-under-par 68 and red-shirt freshman Chan Lee shot 69 on Tuesday (Apr. 28) to pace Francis Marion University during the second round of the 2026 Big Sky Conference Men's Golf Championship Tournament, as the Patriots retained their fourth-place team standing.

The three-day 54-hole event is being played on the 7,066-yard, par-72 Wigwam Resort Gold Course.

Sacramento State University registered a tournament-record and school-record low round of 270 on Tuesday and leads the team standings with a 36-hole total of 560.  The University of Idaho is in second place at 571, followed by Weber State University (572), Francis Marion (575), the University of Northern Colorado (579), and Eastern Washington University (585).

FMU followed up Monday's 294 score with a seven-under-par 281 tally – the team's second-lowest round of the 2025-26 season.

Lee's 69, combined with his opening-round 73, place him in a tie for fifth place in the players' standings at two-under 142.  Neuhaus is in a tie for seventh position with a 75-68=143 scorecard.  His second-round mark was one stroke off his career-low round.

Junior Josh Dugard carded a round of 74, one higher than his Monday total, and is tied for 19th position at 147.  Florence native and senior Pake June recorded a two-under 70 round on Tuesday and is tied for 24th place at 149, while junior Simon DiMaggio shot an 81 and occupies 29th position at 154.

Sacramento State's Jai Bahl set a tournament and school record with an 11-under-par 61 and leads the race for medalist honors with a 36-hole total of 134.  The 61 tally also equaled the course record.
