FARMINGTON, UT – The Francis Marion University men's golf program featured five golfers on the 2026 Spring All-Academic Team, as announced by the Big Sky Conference on Wednesday (July 15).

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) Participated in at least half of the team's competitions; 2) Achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at the conclusion of the most recently completed term; 3) Completed at least one academic term at his/her current Big Sky institution.

Among the recipients for the Patriots were senior Pake June (management), juniors Ryan Bozard (biology) and Josh Dugard (sport management), sophomore Leander Neuhaus (management), and redshirt freshman Chan Lee (finance).

Across the Big Sky Conference, a total of 698 student-athletes were named to the Spring All-Academic Team.

"Congratulations to the nearly 700 student-athletes that make up our Spring All-Academic Team," Big Sky Commissioner Tom Wistrcill said. "In the year 2026, there are so many distractions to navigate, and this group has done that to an exceptional level, along with setting a very strong standard for their peers."

Francis Marion joined the Big Sky Conference in 2025-26 as a men's golf affiliate member after spending time in the Southland Conference from 2021-25. The Patriots began their move to Division I affiliation in the fall of 2005, with the official completion of the move occurring in the summer of 2007. In their first appearance in the Big Sky Conference Championship, the Patriots registered a fourth-place finish.
