Neuhaus named to Big Sky All-Conference Team

FLORENCE, SC - Francis Marion University sophomore Leander Neuhaus has been named to the 2026 Big Sky Conference Men's Golf All-Conference Team.  He was a second-team selection.

A native of Hamburg, Germany, Neuhaus played every round for the Patriots during the regular season, and produced five Top 25 finishes and two Top 10 showings, including a tie for third at the Wexford Intercollegiate Tournament.

He leads the Francis Marion squad with a 72.74 stroke average and has been Francis Marion's top finisher in seven of nine events.  At Elon University's Phoenix Invitational last fall, he shot rounds of 67, 68, and 71 to finish the tournament at 206, the lowest 54-hole total in program history.

During the regular season, he was tabbed as the Big Sky Conference Men's Golfer of the Week four times.

Francis Marion will compete in the Big Sky Conference Championship Tournament on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (Apr. 27-29) at The Wigwam course in Litchfield Park, Ariz.

Neuhaus is majoring in business management and is a graduate of Gymnasium Eppendorf.
