Josh Dugard led a second-round rally as Francis Marion University moved up to 10th-place after Monday's (March 9) opening day of play at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate Men's Golf Tournament.
The 54-hole event is being played on the 6,617-yard, par-70 Palmetto Golf Club course. Tuesday's final round will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
Francis Marion registered a 298 team score over the morning's first round and then rebounded for a two-over par 282 team score in the afternoon. The Patriots are tied with Samford University for 10th position with a 580 total.
Campbell University leads the team standings with a five-under-par 555 tally, one stroke ahead of Navy and two shots up on the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Neuhaus carded rounds of 76 and two-under-par 68, while Dugard shot rounds of 74 and 70. The two are tied for 32nd position in the players' standings with 144 totals.

Chan Lee recorded scores of 72 and 74 and is tied for 42nd place, while DiMaggio (77-70=147) is tied for 48th position. Florence native and senior
