Jensen Gibbs earned a hard-fought 7-6 (7-3) decision at the No.3 spot to claim the doubles point and spark Francis Marion University to a 7-0 road win over Shorter University, Friday afternoon (March 27) in Conference Carolinas women's tennis action.
Francis Marion (5-6, 4-1) will play at Young Harris College on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Magdalena Skachova and freshman Janka Juhasz were victorious 6-0 at No.1 doubles, but Shorter registered a 6-4 win at the No.2 position setting the stage for Beader and Gibbs to give the Patriots a 1-0 advantage.
In singles action, Skachova won 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 at the second rung and Juhasz recorded a 6-4, 6-3 victory at No.3 to put the Patriots up 3-0. Sophomore
Lara Lanno provided the clinching point with a 6-3, 7-6 (10-8) decision at the top spot.
