Ryan Bozard shot a three-over-par 75 to lead Francis Marion University, and the Patriots stand 16th after the opening round of the Linger Longer Invitational Men's Golf Tournament held on Sunday (March 16).
The three-day, 54-hole event is being played on the par-72, 6,991-yard layout at The Landing Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee.
Francis Marion recorded a 307 team score and Bozard is tied for 63rd position in the players' standings. Other FMU golfers included senior

Thirty-seventh-ranked University of Georgia leads the team standings by one stroke over 17th-ranked University of South Carolina and 35th-ranked University of South Florida.
