Box Score NEWBERRY, SC – The Francis Marion University women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Newberry College, Thursday afternoon (Feb. 8) in non-conference play.
 
Francis Marion (0-3) will travel to Hartsville to battle local-rival Coker University on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
 
The doubles point was highly contested with Newberry (2-0) winning at the No.1 and No.3 positions, while the Patriot duo of sophomore Chelsea Seidewitz and freshman Polina Gontaryk earned a 6-2 victory at the No.2 spot.
 
The Wolves then went on to win all six singles matches, although three of the contests went to a third set or third-set tiebreaker.
