DUE WEST, SC – Juniors Fredrika Regner, Elisa Lang, and Lesshika Vala all contributed two wins to help pace regionally ranked Francis Marion University to a 6-1 road win over Erskine College, Saturday afternoon (Feb. 15) in non-conference women's tennis action.

Francis Marion (2-2) is ranked ninth in the most recent NCAA Division II Southeast Region poll. The Patriots will return home to entertain local rival Coker University on Tuesday at 2 p.m. on the Kassab Courts.

Regner and Lang clinched the doubles point for FMU with a 6-2 victory at the No.1 position.  Earlier, sophomore Eva Zannier and Vala had opened the match with a 6-0 win at No.3 doubles.

Straight-set singles wins then followed by Vala at No.6, Regner at No.1, Lang at No.3, freshman Gabriel Karatantcheva at No. 4, and freshman Hermon Mikael at No.5.
