FLORENCE, SC - Kerry Hall won a three-set match at No. 5 singles to give the 13th-ranked Francis Marion University women's tennis team a 5-4 win over 30th-ranked Georgia College on Friday afternoon (March 4), while the 14th-ranked FMU men captured all three doubles matches en route to a 5-4 upset victory over the 12th-ranked Georgia College men.
In sweeping the Peach Belt Conference matches, the Patriot women remain unbeaten at 7-0 overall and 3-0 in the PBC, while the Francis Marion men improve to 6-1 and 2-1.
Both FMU squads will return to action on March 12 at 11 a.m. in a road conference match at Georgia Southwestern State University.
