Senior left-handed pitcher Chas DeBruhl of the Francis Marion University baseball team has been named the McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of Feb. 12-18.

The Kershaw, S.C., native started and tossed six scoreless innings in a 3-0 win over 17th-ranked Seton Hill University on Feb. 17. He earned the win by throwing 98 pitches, and allowing only six hits with six strikeouts and no walks.

Francis Marion (6-3) will play at Claflin University on Tuesday at 3 p.m., before opening Conference Carolinas play by hosting nationally ranked UNC Pemrboke for a three-game series over Homecoming weekend. The two will play a single game on Friday at 6 p.m. and a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m.
