Junior guard-forward Trinity Adams of the Francis Marion University women's basketball team has been named the McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of Jan. 20-26, 2025.

The Rock Hill, S.C., native averaged 13.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game in two contests last week.  She also handed out three assists.  She tallied 16 points, 13 rebounds, a steal, and a block in last Monday's game at Young Harris College and then registered 11 points, seven rebounds, four steals, and a block in Saturday's win over King University.  She helped the Patriot defense hold the two opponents to 40.9 percent shooting from the floor.

Francis Marion (13-4, 8-2) will play its next three games on the road: Jan. 29 at Chowan University, Feb. 1 at nationally ranked Belmont Abbey College, and Feb. 3 at UNC Pembroke.
