Ryan Hunter and freshman
Rileigh Lacy have been named to the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field All-Southeast Region Team announced on Wednesday (May 14) by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Hunter earned the honor for the javelin, while Lacy competed in the pole vault.
Hunter, a native of Blythewood, S.C., won the javelin competition at the 2025 Conference Carolinas Meet in Myrtle Beach, S.C., with a school-record throw of 64.30 meters. That throw was also the best mark of the season for all competitors in the region.
Lacy, a native of Darlington, S.C., won the pole vault at the Conference Carolinas Meet with a jump of 3.39 meters. Earlier in the season at the FMU Patriots Invitational Meet on April 4, she set a school record with a vault of 3.70 meters, the second-best mark of the season among all competitors in the Southeast.
Hunter, who has one year of eligibility left, recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in management (supply chain management). He is a product of Blythewood High School.
Lacy is a product of Darlington High School and is majoring in nursing.
