Senior guard Tionne Rollins of the Francis Marion University men's basketball team has been named the McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 20-26.

In FMU's only game last week, the Tallahassee, Fla., native scored a season-high 31 points – one shy of his career high – in a narrow road loss at Wingate University.  He also handed out three assists, pilfered three steals, and grabbed a pair of rebounds.  Rollins shot 8-of-16 from the floor, including 6-of-10 from behind the three-point line, and was a perfect 9-of-9 at the free throw line

In the process, Rollins moved to within 26 points of 1,000 for his career.

Francis Marion will play a pair of road games this week: Wednesday at Newberry College at 7 p.m. and Saturday at Chowan University in the Conference Carolinas opener at 4 p.m.
