Francis Marion University / McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week

Francis Marion University volleyball outside hitter Lexi Albright has been named the McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 20-26, 2021.

A sophomore from Easley, S.C., Albright led Francis Marion to a 3-0 start in Conference Carolinas play.  In the three victories, she averaged 3.18 kills and 3.82 digs per set, while posting a .198 hitting percentage. She also registered three blocks, two service aces, and one assist.  She posted a pair of double-doubles, with them coming in back-to-back contyests against the University of Mount Olive (15 kills/17 digs) and Chowan University (11/18).

FMU will play its next three matches on the road at Belmont Abbey College (Sept. 28), Erskine College (Oct. 1), and Emmanuel College (Oct. 2).
