Francis Marion University / McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week

Francis Marion University women’s tennis freshman Viktoria Leth has been named the McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Mar. 8-14.

Leth, a Gothenburg, Sweden, native recorded a 2-0 record in the No. 2 singles position this week with a pair of straight-set victories and was 1-1 in doubles action. She helped FMU beat Young Harris College 5-2 and accounted for the lone point in a 6-1 loss to nationally ranked North Georgia. She is unbeaten (8-0) in singles competition this year and 5-3 in doubles play.

She ranks No. 1 in the Peach Belt Conference in Singles play.
