Sophomore Jazmine McDonald-Craft of the Francis Marion University women's track & field program was selected the McDonald’s Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of Apr. 20-26, 2026.

McDonald-Craft accounted for 18 points toward the team standings and earn all-conference honors twice, as the Francis Marion Women's Track & Field program placed a team-best fifth overall the 2026 Outdoor Conference Carolinas Championships. She rallied from a pair of fouls to deliver a championship-clinching 40.86-meter toss on her final attempt in the discus, claiming the gold medal. It marks back-to-back titles in the discus for McDonald-Craft, who also earned first-team all-conference honors.

In the shot put, she achieved a new FMU record with a personal-best toss of 13.06 meters to finish as the runner-up and secure second-team all-conference.

The Patriots will bring a select group of student-athletes to the Duke Twlight Meet this Sunday. May, 3, in a last chance to improve their final marks during the outdoor season.
