Junior center Jasmine Grant of the Francis Marion University women’s basketball team has been named the McDonald’s Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of Nov. 24-30.

The Summerville, S.C., native scored a career-high 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting with a career-high eight rebounds and five blocks in only 23 minutes of action in a conference win over the University of Mount Olive in the Patriots' only game last week.

Francis Marion (4-1, 2-0) hosts Anderson University on Tuesday (Dec. 2) at 5:30 p.m. before playing four consecutive road contests after final exams.
