Seniors Rileigh Lacy of the Francis Marion University women’s track & field team has been named the McDonald’s Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of Feb. 16-22, 2026.

A Darlington, S.C. native, Lacy secured her second-ever Conference Carolinas title in the women's pole vault after clearing 3.32 meters. It is her first indoor championship in the event after winning the 2025 outdoor pole vault last spring. Lacy earns first-team all-conference honors after securing first place.

The Patriots continue the Conference Carolinas Championships on Monday (Feb. 23) before starting the outdoor season on March 6-7 at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational Meet.
