Francis Marion University / McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week

Francis Marion University men's basketball senior guard Holden Redparth has been named the McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 25-31. Redparth, a Rockville, Md., native, led FMU with his first career double-double, tallying 24 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists against UNC Pembroke (Jan. 27). He was 7-of-15 from the field, including 3-of-8 from behind the arc, while shooting a perfect 7-of-7 at the free-throw line. He followed that performance up with  20 points, six rebounds, and two assists on Saturday (Jan. 30) against Columbus State. Redparth shot 50 percent from the field (7-of-14), including 2-of-4 from three-point range, while knocking down 4-of-5 shots from the charity stripe, in the heartbreaking overtime loss.

He currently ranks No. 3 in Peach Belt Conference in Three-Point Field-Goal percentage (40.4 percent) and Total Three-Point Field-Goals made (21). He also ranks No. 4 in the PBC in Scoring with 19.3 ppg.
