FLORENCE, SC – Francis Marion University sophomore guard
Kiara Croskey has been named to the D2CCA Southeast All-Region Team as a first-team selection.
The post-season honor was announced on Thursday (March 12) prior to the start of the NCAA Division II National Tournament on Friday.
Croskey, a 5-7 native of Sumter, S.C. leads Francis Marion in scoring (18.7 ppg), rebounding (6.4 rpg), assists (3.4 apg), and steals (3.5 spg). She is connecting on 47.5 percent of her field goal attempts and is shooting 83.1 percent at the free throw stripe – currently the third-highest figure in program history.
Nationally, she ranks sixth in both total steals and steals per game, while listing 16th in free throws made, 27th in scoring , 30th in free throws attempted, and 32nd in total points.
She has scored in double figures in 27 contests, including 16 games of 20 or more points.
Named the Conference Carolinas Player of the Year last week, she ranks in the top 17 in the conference in eight different categories. She was named the conference's Player of the Week twice during the regular season and the Defensive Player of the Week twice as well.
Croskey was also named to the recent All-Tournament Team at the conference tournament in Spartanburg, and was placed on the 2026 Conference Carolinas All-Defensive Team.
Francis Marion (19-10) is the sixth seed in the regional tournament and will face third-seeded and 17th-ranked Coker University (25-6) in a first-round game on Friday at noon in Harrogate, Tenn. See the FMU website

The three other first-round contests have second-seeded Lenoir-Rhyne University (24-5) facing seventh-seeded Augusta University (21-9) at 2:30 p.m., top-seed and host Lincoln Memorial University (25-4) playing eighth-seeded Lees-McRae College (23-7) at 5 p.m., and fourth-seeded Columbus State University (25-4) meeting fifth-seeded Carson-Newman University (21-10) at 7:30 p.m.
The semifinals are set for Saturday at 5 and 7:30 p.m. with the regional final set for Monday at 7 p.m.
Croskey graduated from Sumter High School and is majoring in healthcare administration.
