Francis Marion University junior center Jasmine Grant has been named to the College Sports Communicators 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team that was announced on Tuesday (March 24).

A native of Summerville, S.C., Grant owns a 3.662 cumulative grant point average as a healthcare administration major.

Selected by college sports communicators, the All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, with the Academic All-America® honorees to be announced in mid-April.

Grant appeared in all 30 games this past season, making 15 starts, for a 19-11 Patriot squad that won the Conference Carolinas East Division title, was the top seed in the conference tournament, and earned an invitation to the NCAA Division II National Tournament.

For her work in the classroom, she was placed on the FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll last fall and named to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll.

On the court, she averaged 6.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game.  That latter figure ranked second in the conference, as did her 52 total blocks.  She connected on 52.4 percent of her field goal attempts and shot 60.2 percent at the foul line.  During the season, she scored in double figures seven times and posted two double-doubles.

Nationally, she ranks 31st in total blocks for Division II and 36th in blocks per game.

Grant is a graduate of Summerville High School.
