Francis Marion University sophomore guard
Kiara Croskey has been named an honorable mention All-American by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association as the organization announced its award winners for the 2025-26 season on Wednesday (March 25).
Croskey, a 5-7 native of Sumter, S.C. led Francis Marion in scoring (18.6 ppg), rebounding (6.5 rpg), assists (3.3 apg), and steals (3.4 spg). She connected on 47.2 percent of her field goal attempts and shot 82.6 percent at the free throw stripe – the fifth-highest figure in program history.
Nationally, she ranks seventh in total steals and 10th in steals per game, while listing 15th in free throws made, 26th in free throws attempted, 27th in scoring, and 32nd in total points.
She scored in double figures in 28 contests, including 16 games of 20 or more points.
Named the Conference Carolinas Player of the Year for 2025-26, she ranked in the top 16 in the conference in eight different categories. She was named the conference's Player of the Week twice during the regular season and the Defensive Player of the Week twice as well.
Croskey was also named to the D2CCA Southeast All-Region Team as a first-team selection, to Conference Carolinas All-Tournament Team, and was placed on the 2026 Conference Carolinas All-Defensive Team.
She helped Francis Marion to a 19-11 record, the Conference Carolinas East Division crown, the top seed in the conference tournament, and a second consecutive bid to the NCAA Division II National Tournament.
Croskey graduated from Sumter High School and is majoring in healthcare administration.
