The Francis Marion University volleyball team will host a pair of matches this weekend.
FMU (13-10, 8-6) will entertain North Greenville University (18-9, 13-2) on Friday at 7 p.m. for the program's annual Dig Pink Match. On Saturday, Francis Marion will celebrate Senior Day when Belmont Abbey College (6-24, 3-12) visits the Smith University Center for a 2 p.m. first serve.
Admission to both matches is free.
Opportunities will be available for donations to the Side-Out Foundation on Friday. Donations go toward research specifically for patients with metastatic breast cancer, the most advanced form of the disease, and the least funded area of research. Fans are also encouraged to wear pink.
Prior to Saturday's match, Francis Marion will recognize its one senior, outside hitter and Myrtle Beach native
Gracie Davis. Davis has played three seasons for the Patriots after transferring from Presbyterian College. Her career totals include 525 kills, 137 digs, and 65 blocks in 72 career matches.
