Junior guard-forward Trinity Adams of the Francis Marion University women's basketball team has been named the McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of Dec.30, 2024-Jan. 5, 2025.

The Rock Hill, S.C., native averaged 13.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 4.0 steals per game in two contests last week, and recorded seven assists.  Her week included 16 points, 10 rebounds, and five steals at Shaw University and 11 points, eight rebounds, and three steals at Southern Wesleyan University.

Francis Marion, now 10-2 overall and 5-0 in conference play, will host Chowan University on Wednesday (Jan. 8) at 5:30 p.m. before traveling to Shorter University on Saturday, Jan. 11, for a 2 p.m. tip-off.
