The Division II Athletics Directors Association recently announced its annual list of recipients for the 2026 Division II ADA Academic Achievement Awards – a list that includes 97 student-athletes from Francis Marion University.

The Academic Achievement Awards is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the NCAA Division II level. In order to receive the Academic Achievement Award, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college, and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during their last academic year.

FMU student-athletes were part of 1,396 Academic Achievement Award honorees from the Conference Carolinas. Overall, a total of 21,000-plus student-athletes were recognized from 179 Division II institutions.
