FMU:  Returning letterwinner....Appeared in nine games (6 starts) as part of the 2025 squad that reached the NCAA Super Regionals....Registered a .286 on-base percentage....Transfer from Florida Southwestern State College, where she played two seasons....NFCA/Easton All-America Scholar-Athlete 2025....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2024 (fall), 2025 (spring)....Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll 2024 (fall), 2025 (spring).

FSSC:  Played 104 games over the past two seasons for the Buccaneers, and batted .345....Helped the Bucs to a pair of Conference championships and an NJCAA National Championship as a freshman in 2023 with a 56-5 record.....Racked up 80 career hits and accounted for 101 runs with 52 scored and 49 driven in.....As a sophomore, was a first-team All-Conference selection, after recording 14 doubles and driving in 31 while hitting .349 and reaching base at a .467 clip....Second-team All-Conference selection as a freshman....In the classroom, was a two-time NJCAA All-Academic Team selection, while earning CSC Academic All-District honors as a sophomore in 2024.....In her two seasons, helped lead FSW to a 111-15 overall record.

• 2-time All-Conference selection
• Second-Team All-League pick as a senior and led her team to a District Championship
• As a senior, hit .422 with eight doubles and 15 RBIs, while fielding .951
• Also a standout volleyball and soccer player (4-time All-Conference performer on the pitch)
• Nicknames are Maddy, Mads, Mad dawg, and Golka

• How you got your nickname: I’ve gone by Maddy ever since I was little and I usually go by Golka when there’s more than one Maddy on the team; Mads and Mad dawg are nicknames that my teammates in the past have given me

• Why you first chose your sport:  I grew up playing pretty much every sport and when I got older I had to choose between soccer and softball and ultimately chose softball because it was less running
• Biggest mental challenge in your sport:  Learning that you will fail more than you will succeed
