PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA – Senior Josh Dugard and freshman Matthew Griffiths are currently inside the top 20 on the individual leaderboard on Monday (Sept. 21), as Francis Marion University sits in 10th place at the John MacDonald Temple Invitational.

The 54-hole event included 36 holes on Monday and will conclude with the final round on Tuesday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at The 1912 Club course, a 6,951-yard par-70 layout.

Francis Marion carded a 298 team score during Monday's morning round to sit fifth in the team standings, but fell down the leaderboard to 10th overall in the second round after shooting a 300.

University of Delaware holds a one-stroke lead over Lehigh University at the top of the team standings.

Dugard and Griffiths shot identical scores of 146 (+6) following two rounds of competition to hold a tie for 18th overall. Dugard carded an opening round 74, which included an eagle on the 518-yard, par-5 3rd hole, before converting three birdies and 10 pars in the second round to score a 72. Griffiths recorded a 72 in the first round after shooting one-over-par 36 on the front nine and made three birdies on the back nine. He delivered a second-round 74, which included one birdie and 12 pars. Both golfers sit six strokes off the lead.

Freshman Yu-Hsiang Shih is tied for 43rd after 36 holes following rounds of 73 and 81 on Monday. Sophomore Chan Lee is tied for 45th position with a score of 155 after rounds of 79 and 76, while freshman Rohan Neat, who is competing as an individual, also sits 45th overall (81+74=155).

Sophomore Carson Jordan is tied for 53rd after shooting rounds of 79 and 78.
