Caleb Oakley has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for 2025.
The Mullins, S.C., native earns the honor for the third consecutive year.
Selected by CSC, the All-District Team recognizes the area's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Oakley recently graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, and finished with a 3.773 cumulative grade point average.
A four-year letterman, Oakley was named to the 2025 Conference Carolinas All-Defensive Team as a utility player. He garnered Academic All-Conference recognition each of the past three seasons. He is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma national college athlete honor society and Tri-Beta National Honor Society. He served two years on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (including as treasurer this past year) and received a Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award in both 2024 and 2023. He was been placed on the FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll all eight of his semesters and on the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll seven times.
On the diamond, he started all 53 contests in 2025, 14 behind the plate and 39 in the outfield. He batted .310 with 59 runs scored, seven doubles, five triples, and 38 runs batted in. He registered a .450 on-base percentage and stole 24 bases in 29 attempts, while in the field posting a .991 fielding percentage. In Conference Carolinas, he ranked first in triples, fifth in stolen bases, seventh in hit-by-pitches, 11th in runs scored, 13th in walks, and 18th in on-base percentage. He ranks 27th nationally in Division II with his five triples.
He helped the Patriots to a 40-13 mark this past season, the team's best year since 2012, and to a share of the 2025 conference regular-season title.
In his four seasons, Oakley hit .303 in 152 games with 127 runs scored, 24 doubles, seven triples, a homer, 66 RBIs, and 33 stolen bases.
Oakley is a product of Pee Dee Academy.
