Box Score FLORENCE, SC – After dropping the doubles point, Francis Marion University posted four straight-sets singles wins to claim a 4-1 victory over Limestone University, Wednesday afternoon (Feb. 26) in non-conference men's tennis action.
 
Francis Marion improves to 3-1 will play at Lander University on Saturday at 2 p.m.
 
Limestone (1-1) earned victories at No.1 and 3 doubles spots to take a 1-0 advantage.
 
FMU sophomore Alexander Mirkov evened the match with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No.6 singles.  Freshman Diego Vega Espinosa gave FMU a 2-1 lead when he took a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No.5 singles.
 
Freshman Miguel Maia upped the margin to 3-1 when registered a 6-4, 6-3 win at No.2 singles and senior Harri Lloyd-Evans provided the clinching point with a 6-3, 7-6 (9-7) decision at the No.4 position.
