Box Score FLORENCE, SC – Junior forward Dii'Jon Allen-Jordan scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to power Francis Marion University to a 79-65 victory over Florida College, Thursday night (Nov. 20) in non-conference men's basketball action.
Francis Marion improves to 2-1 overall and is now 9-0 in home openers under head coach Gary Edwards. FMU will play host to Clearwater Christian College on Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Smith University Center.

Following Allen-Jordan, freshman point guard Detrek Browning tallied 13 points, six rebounds, and five steals, and four assists, while freshman swingman Mike Davis Jr. chipped in 11 points.
Sophomore forward McMichael Jamison led Florida College (2-10) with 33 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocked shots.
Francis Marion scored the game's opening eight points – including a thunderous fast-break dunk by Allen-Jordan – and never trailed. The Falcons crept to within 25-19 with 5:05 left in the first half, but the Patriots responded with a 15-5 spurt to take a 40-24 advantage. FMU led 40-26 at halftime.
FMU opened the second stanza with a 24-8 run, including nine points from Allen-Jordan, which expanded the lead to 30 points at 64-34.
Francis Marion forced 26 Falcon turnovers which the Patriots converted into 32 points. FMU also outrebounded Florida College 47-33.
