PERSONAL: Born Detrek Marqual Browning in Columbia, S.C.....A graduate of Irmo High School, where he played for legendary coach Tim Whipple (624 career wins, five state titles, and eight AAAA championship game appearances)....As a senior, averaged 13.7 points, 4.0 assists, 3.3 steals, and 3.3 rebounds per game, while earning All-State and All-Region honors.....Connected on 38 percent of his three-point attempts and shot 80 percent at the foul line while helping the Yellow Jackets to an undefeated season (29-0) and the program’s second state championship in three years.....Irmo finished the year ranked 13th nationally by USA Today.....Named the AAAA Player of the Year by the High School Sports Report....Selected to play in the North/South All-Star Game.....Made a pair of All-Tournament Teams (Impact Sports Invitational, Lindberg Moody Holiday Classic)....For entire prep career, averaged 10.2 ppg and shot 38% on three-pointers....Nickname is Roc.
