Junior Logan Zeis of the Francis Marion University men's cross country team has been named the McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 17-23, 2022.

Zeis posted a personal-best time of 27:50.5 at the 8,000-meter Sand Shark Invitational Meet, hosted by USC Beaufort on Oct. 22 in Bluffton, S.C.  He placed third in the individual standings and nearly helped the Patriots to a team title as FMU finished third, only four points behind the winning squad.

Francis Marion will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Conference Carolinas Championships in Spartanburg, S.C.
