Francis Marion University / McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week

Francis Marion University sophomore women's basketball forward Lauryn Taylor has been named the McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 22-28, 2021.

The 6-0 native of Blythewood, S.C., scored 17 points and added three rebounds, one assist, and one steal in FMU's only contest last week, a road game at the University of Mount Olive.  She connected on 6-of-13 field goal attempts and was a perfect 5-of-5 at the foul line.

FMU will play three Conference Carolinas games this coming week: Nov. 30 at Barton College, Dec. 3 at home against King University (Tenn.), and Dec. 4 at home against Lees-McRae College.
