Francis Marion University / McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week

Francis Marion University volleyball outside hitter Gracie Davis has been named the McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 4-10, 2021.

A junior from Myrtle Beach, S.C., Davis averaged 5.0 kills per set last week with a sizzling .413 hitting percentage.  She helped the Patriots to a pair of Conference Carolinas wins as FMU improved to 12-8 overall and 8-0 in conference play.  She also recorded five digs and three blocks.

She recorded 15 kills on only 30 swings in a sweep of Converse University and then posted 15 kills on 33 swings in a sweep of Belmont Abbey College.
