Francis Marion University / McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week

Francis Marion University junior cross country runner Christian England has been named the McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 28-Oct. 4, 2020.  England registered a personal-best time at the season-opening Braves’ Twilight dual meet on Oct. 2.  England led the Patriots with a seventh-place finish in the 5,000-meter men’s race with a time of 17:19.93, nearly two minutes better than his previous best. The Patriots will next run on Oct. 9 at the Royals XC Challenge hosted by Queens University of Charlotte.
