Sophomore forward Matea Bradfield of the Francis Marion University women's soccer program was selected the McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of Sept. 21-27.

Bradfield, a native from Evansville, Indiana, totaled six points with two goals and two assists in 93 minutes played, as the Patriots registered a pair of shutout victories to post a 2-0 week in league play.

Against Barton on Wednesday evening, she produced a four-point performance with one goal and two assists in a 4-0 victory. On Saturday, she scored her eighth goal of the year as FMU cruised past Emmanuel University by a 7-0 margin.

Francis Marion returns to the pitch on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Ferrum College, starting at 2:00 p.m. before traveling to Lees-McRae College on Saturday, Oct. 3, for an 11 a.m. kickoff.
