Redshirt senior Robbie Jordan of the Francis Marion University baseball team has been named the McDonald’s Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of Feb. 23-Mar. 1, 2026.

Jordan (5-0), a product of Florence Christian School, tossed a 7.0-inning complete-game performance after matching a season-high with eight strikeouts in a 9-2 win over #2 NGU in Game 2. He yielded two runs (one earned) on just five hits with one walk issued after throwing 116 pitches. Jordan earned his 26th career win on the mound for the Patriots to move into a tie for third all-time alongside his former high school coach and FMU Hall of Famer Scotty Keefe.

Francis Marion will play its next four games on the road with a non-conference game at Coker University on Tuesday, March 3, before heading to Barton College for a three-game series on Mar. 6-7.
