Junior forward Tehya Dave' of the Francis Marion University women's soccer team has been named the McDonald’s Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of Nov. 3-9, 2025.

A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., Dave' helped propel the top-seeded Patriots to a 2-0 win over Converse University in the quarterfinals of the Conference Carolinas Tournament.  She registered 10 shots, third-most in program history, while assisting on the opening goal and scoring the second goal.  In the process, she moved into 14th place on the Patriot career goals scored list with 20.

Earlier in the week, she was named the conference's Offensive Player of the Year and placed on the first-team All-Conference squad for the second year in a row.

The 21st-ranked Francis Marion (16-1-0) team will face fifth-seeded Young Harris College in the tournament semifinals on Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the Truist Soccer Complex at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, N.C.  The championship match is set for Sunday at 2 p.m.
