Francis Marion University Athletics

Freshman Jazmine McDonald-Craft of the Francis Marion University women's track and field team has been named the McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of March 31-April 6, 2025.

A native of Columbia, S.C, McDonald-Craft competed in three events at last week's FMU Patriots Invitational Meet.  She set a new mark in the discus with a throw of 41.56 meters, the best throw in Conference Carolinas this season.  She also won the shot put (11.16m) and finished second in the javelin (24.09m).

Francis Marion will compete in the Trojan Relays on Friday and Saturday (April 11-12) hosted by the University of Mount Olive.
