Biography
FMU: First-year player at FMU....Transfer from Catawba College, where she played one season (2021)....Will help push our gym to the level we want to be....Even though she is a transfer, she is a local (from Conway) and understands the commitment to Francis Marion needed to help us excel....Great hands....Great teammate.....Excited to get her in our gym and make those connections with our hitters....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2022 (fall), 2023 (spring)....Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll 2022 (fall).
CC: In 2021, appeared in three matches and averaged 3.50 assists and 1.75 digs per set, while not committing a ball handling error.

- Graduate of the Academy for Technology and Academics and played at Conway High School for coach Rachel Doutt
- Earned All-Region honors and was a South Carolina All-Star Match selection
- Two-time team captain for the Tigers
- Helped lead Conway to four state tournament berths
- Nicknames are Rubert and Junebug

- How you got your nickname: My dad calls me this and then my friends also just randomly call me this; My papa calls me Junebug because I was born in June, but only he calls me this J

- Why you first chose your sport: When I was little, I wanted something to do and I thought volleyball looked fun so my parents let me try it out and I fell in love
- Biggest mental challenge in your sport: Myself; Volleyball is a sport where it is very easy to get into your own head so you have to learn ways not to get in your head
- Interesting Notes: I learned how to water ski at 4 years old
