PERSONAL: Born Emily Rebecca Stanley in Sanford, N.C.....A graduate of Lee County Senior High School, where she played under the direction of coach Cindy Kelly.....As a senior, she registered 442 kills (an average of five per set) and 103 serving aces....Earned Cape Fear Valley Conference Player of the Year recognition.....Named the 2014 All-Cape Fear Region Player of the Year by the Fayetteville Observer after helping the Yellow Jackets to the Cape Fear Valley 3-A conference title, a perfect 21-0 regular-season record, and a spot in the final four of the state playoffs.....Team most valuable player each of her three years on varsity....Three-time All-Conference selection and two-time All-County pick.....Helped the Yellow Jackets to back-to-back conference championships as a junior and senior.....Played club volleyball for the Brick City Volleyball Club and coach Dallas Langston.....Her club squads earned invitations to the USVA Nationals each of her final two years.....In the classroom, garnered All-Academic Conference honors four times, was inducted into the National Honors Society and the National Technical Honors Society, and served as an officer in her school’s DECA chapter.
