PERSONAL:  Born Connor Edward Howell in Augusta, Ga.....A product of Midland Valley High School, where he played for head coach Brad Richardson.....Voted team's Most Valuable Offensive Player in 2016....Named to All-State and All-Region squads....Played in the 2016 North/South All-Star Game.....As a junior, batted .316 with a .426 on-base percentage, and led the team in stolen bases.....As a sophomore, hit .303.....Four-year letterman....Named to the 2012-13 Perfect Game All-Freshman Team.....A member of the Carolina Baseball Showcase Dovetail summer league team, he batted .365 with a .468 OBP and 28 stolen bases in 2015.
