FMU: Returning starter from 2015-16.....Earned her undergraduate degree in May 2017....Took a Medical Redshirt during the 2016-17 season after undergoing pre-season knee surgery....Valuable and experienced member of the squad....Played in every game as a junior....Key three-point shooter in FMU's Elite Eight run.....Scored in double figures seven times, including career-high 22 in road win at Shaw (12-5-15)....2015-16 PBC rankings: 16th in 3-point field goals made, 26th in 3-point field goal percentage, 38th in assists-to-turnovers ratio....Transfer from Volunteer State Community College (where she was a teammate of FMU guard TeTe Flowers)....Will be a valued addition to the FMU squad....Will have the opportunity to step in and play right away, especially given the fact FMU lost its top assists person and three-point shooter to graduation.....Excited about her joining the Patriot program....Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll 2016....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2015 (fall), 2016 (spring).....VSCC: In 2014-15, averaged 11.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game....Shot 51.2% from the floor, including 50% from three-point range, and 72.7% at the foul line.....Also recorded twice as many assists as turnovers.....In a region tournament contest, she was 8-for-13 from three-point territory.....As a freshman, she registered 4.5 points and 1.6 rebounds per game.....Also attended the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga for one year, but did not play basketball after suffering an injury during her senior year of high school.

PERSONAL:  Born Victoria Sharisse Dye in Lebanon, Tenn....A graduate of Lebanon High School, where she played under the direction of coach Larry Inman.....She was a three-sport athlete, including goalkeeper on the soccer team....Nickname is Vic.
