FMU:  3-year returning letterwinner....Conference Carolinas Winter/Spring Academic All-Conference Team 2023-24....Played in 21 games in 2022-23 and made one start....Appeared in 54 career contests....Conference Carolinas Winter/Spring Academic All-Conference Team 2022-23....CSC Academic All-District Team 2022-23....Equal number of career assists to turnovers from the point guard spot....Played in 30 games in 2021-22 and made one start....After returning from an (high school) injury, appeared in two games during the covid-shortened 2020-21 season....Prior to her senior-year injury, we had already identified MiLeia as a high IQ, high motor point guard from one of the best programs in the Charlotte area (the Chargers have won 13 of the last 16 NCISAA state titles)....We spent the year tracking her progress and paying attention to how she handled the adversity that she was faced with.....Have been so impressed with her positivity and her character and we believe that she has plenty of good basketball ahead of her once she has gotten her rhythm and conditioning back.....Excited to welcome her to our basketball family at FMU....Chi Alpha Sigma national college athlete honor society....Student-Athlete Advisory Committee 2021-22, 2022-23....Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award 2022, 2023, 2024....Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll 2021....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2020 (fall), 2021 (spring, fall), 2022 (spring, fall), 2023 (spring, fall), 2024 (spring)....Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll 2022, 2023 (spring, fall), 2024 (spring).

• A graduate of Providence Day School, where she played for coach Josh Springer
• Missed her entire senior season with a knee injury
• As a junior, averaged 5.3 points, 3.8 assists, and 2.7 rebounds per game
• Earned second-team All-Conference accolades as a sophomore
• Despite missing the 2019-20 season, was selected for the 2020 N.C. Private School All-Star Game
• 2-time All-Conference
• 2-time state champion
