Biography
FMU: 2-year returning starter....Career totals: 72 games, 815 points, 346 rebounds....2019-20 PBC All-Conference Team (first team)....Team MVP 2019-20....PBC Player of the Week (Nov. 25-Dec.1, 2019)....Started all 27 games as a junior....Led squad in scoring and was second in rebounding....PBC rankings: 2nd in scoring (17.0), 3rd in free throw percentage (77.2%), 5th in field goal percentage (46.7%), 7th in rebounding (7.2), 8th in minutes played (30.9), 10th in blocked shots (0.9).....24 games scoring double-figures (including six 20-point outings)....Five doubles-doubles....Career-high totals of 36 points and 16 rebounds vs Flagler College (1-25-20)....Sophomore year: second on the squad in scoring after becoming eligible in December....Scored in double figures 17 times....PBC rankings: 11th in free throw percentage, 13th in scoring, 13th in blocked shots, 13th in minutes played, 17th in field goal percentage, 22nd in three-point percentage, and 24th in rebounding....2 double-doubles....Transfer from Division I Wright State University in 2018.....Will have three years of eligibility at FMU....Very excited that an athlete with Kiana’s abilities has identified Francis Marion as an option to continue her athletic and academic career....The goal of our program is to recruit this caliber of student-athlete, and especially those from our region of South Carolina.....A face-up forward that can put the ball on the floor and score, while also possessing the ability to shoot from the perimeter – a perfect fit for the FMU system.....A talent that can come in and help immediately.....WSU: Appeared in 22 contests as a freshman with the Raiders, averaging 2.5 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.....Shot 41.5 percent from the floor and 84.6 percent at the free throw stripe.

- Born Kiana Camille Adderton in Myrtle Beach, SC
- Graduate of Myrtle Beach High School, where she played for coach Jennifer Dennison
- Led Myrtle Beach to an 85-26 record during her prep career, including a state AAA runner-up finish in 2016
- Averaged 21 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and six steals per game as a senior
- As a senior, earned All-State and Region 7-AAAA Player of the Year accolades while being named to play in the 2017 North/South All-Star game
- Helped Myrtle Beach capture the 2017 region title and surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her career
- Averaged 10.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per contest as a junior
- Garnered second-team All-Region honors in 2016, while leading the Lady Seahawks to the state title game
- During her sophomore campaign, averaged 12.2 ppg and 8.0 rpg and earned All-State and region Player of the Year honors
- 3-time WPDE Miss Hoop Zone Finalist (2015, 2016, and 2017)
- 3-time The Sun News’ Toast of the Coast selection
- Named to the Beach Ball Classic All-Tournament team in 2015
