PERSONAL: Born Danielle Katrice Gibson in Spartanburg, S.C.....Graduated from Dorman High School, where she played for coaches Kristy Ray and Joy Couch.....Named 2008 pre-season Top 10 player for the state of South Carolina....As a junior, averaged 9 ppg and 6 rpg....2007All-Region and All-Area....Played in several post-season All-Star games....Was a member of the Cavaliers’ 2005 state championship squad and three Upper State championship teams....MVP of 2008 Spartanburg County East vs West All-Star Game.....Hobbies include music and shopping....Nickname is Dany.
