PERSONAL: Born Courtney Danielle Wood in Lincolnton, N.C....A graduate of South Caldwell High School, where she played for coach Jeff Parham.....As a senior, averaged 18.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game while helping lead the Spartans to a 17-10 mark and a berth in the second round of the state 4A playoffs.....Connected on 52 percent of her field goal attempts and 82 percent of her free throws.....All-County Player of the Year....All-Conference....All-Greater Hickory squad.....Nickname is Court.
