Victoria Dye

Victoria Dye enters her second year as an assistant coach with the Patriot women's basketball program, and her fourth year overall with the staff.

A member of the 2015-16 FMU squad that advanced to the NCAA Elite Elite with a 24-9 record, she took a medical redshirt during the 2016-17 season after undergoing pre-season knee surgery. She earned her undergraduate degree in May 2017.  She served as a graduate assistant for the Patriots during the 2018-19 and 2017-18 seasons, before joining the program as a full-time assistant for 2019-20.

As a key three-point shooter in FMU's Elite Eight run, she scored in double figures seven times, including career-high 22 points in road win at Shaw University on Dec. 5, 2015.  In the Peach Belt Conference, she ranked 16th in 3-point field goals made, 26th in 3-point field goal percentage, and 38th in assists-to-turnovers ratio. She was named to the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll in 2016 and to the FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll on two occasions.

She started her collegiate experience at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, but did not play basketball after suffering an injury during her senior year of high school. She then transferred and played two seasons at Volunteer State Community College in Tennessee.

She is a native of Lebanon, Tenn., and a product of Lebanon High School.
