Biography
FMU: First-year player at FMU....A hard-working efficient combo guard, who can score off the bounce.....Will do a good job for us, especially at the defensive end of the floor.....A good student....A work-horse in practice every day....We expect her to develop into a solid guard in the Peach Belt Conference.
PERSONAL:
- Born Alexis Christina Mims in Columbia, SC
- A graduate of Blythewood High School, where she played under the direction of coach Steve Inabinet
- As a junior, she averaged 12 points, four assists, and three steals per game
- 2-time All-Region selection
- Also played for the South Carolina 76ers AAU squad under the direction of coach Derrick McQueen
- Honor student
- Was named the Most Athletic Cadet by her school’s ROTC program
- Past qualifier for the state track meet
