Trevor Hess

Trevor Hess is entering his first year as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Francis Marion University.
 
Hess earned a B.S. degree in exercise science from Southwest Minnesota State University in 2017 and an M.A. degree in athletic training from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2019.
 
He comes to Francis Marion after serving seven months as head athletic trainer at The Ripken Baseball Experience in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and has been with McLeod Health since July of 2020.  He worked as an athletic trainer for football and men’s and women’s tennis at Coastal Carolina University for the 2019-20 school year.  He completed internship  with the New Orleans Saints (2019), Arizona State University (2017), and the Arizona Rattlers arena football team (2016).  He also worked with various squads in the Omaha area while earning his master’s degree.
 
A native of Gilbert, Ariz., he was an Academic All-Conference performer (long snapper) on the Southwest Minnesota State football squad.
 
A board-certified Athletic Trainer, he also holds certification with South Carolina DHEC and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
